I’ve been interested in and passionate about colors and color analysis for many years. When I discovered that there’s a method for finding which colors naturally harmonize with a person’s coloring and features, I jumped into an education in it. That was the start of my small business in 2023.
My motivation has been to help people find pieces they want to wear for many years, and thereby reduce the overconsumption of clothing, which is a major environmental problem.
About me
Hi, my name is Charlotte Synniva. I’m 36 years old and originally from Tromsø. I live in Tønsberg with my little family. My interest in color led me to pursue an education in color analysis and start my own business in 2023. I first completed a stylist program with a focus on color analysis in 2023, followed by a specialized education in color analysis at International Image Institute Inc., which specializes in a system with 16 (23) different palettes.
My motivation
My motivation for starting with color analysis is rooted in an interest in the environment and sustainability. I personally found it difficult to invest in good-quality garments when I so often experienced that items I bought ended up unused in my closet. The result was that I bought cheaper pieces, so I wouldn’t risk spending too much on these wrong purchases. I figured there must be others who felt the same way. How could I help people reduce overconsumption and the purchase of fast fashion? One answer was to help people discover what truly suits them, so they can make better choices in stores—and buy things they actually want to wear for a long time.
